FULL-SERVICE MOVERS IN WASHINGTON, DC
Three Brothers Moving
Written quote the same day
Tell us the rooms, the stairs and the parking, and the flat number comes back in writing.
Flat rate, nothing added later
Blankets, shrink wrap and tape are in the number. Nothing is re-priced once the truck is loaded.
Packing, full or partial
Dish barrels for kitchens, wardrobe cartons for closets, crates for glass and stone tops.
One crew lead, start to finish
The same person who surveys your home runs the load-out and the walkthrough at the end.

-
1
Free quote — about 10 minutes
We handle: We ask room count, stairs or elevator, and where the truck can legally park, then send a flat written price.
What helps most: Have your building’s COI rules and elevator hours handy — it makes the number exact instead of a guess.
-
2
We lock the date, permits and elevator
We handle: We reserve the freight elevator and pull a DDOT temporary no-parking permit so the truck sits at your door, not three blocks away.
What helps most: Confirm your move-out and move-in windows with both buildings, then tell us the tighter one.
-
3
Pack & protect
We handle: Blanket-wrap on every piece of furniture, shrink-wrap on upholstery, beds and table legs disassembled and bagged with their hardware.
What helps most: Label boxes by the room they go to, and keep documents, keys and small valuables with you, not on the truck.
-
4
Load, drive, place & walk through
We handle: The same crew that loads is the crew that unloads — furniture goes where you point, beds get rebuilt, packing debris leaves with us.
What helps most: Do the final walkthrough with the crew lead before we pull away, while everything can still be adjusted for free.

Most frequent asked questions and their answers
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Three Brothers Moving is a fully licensed and insured DC moving company with US DOT and MC authority, and we provide a Certificate of Insurance for any building that requires one.
Do you have any hidden charges?
No. The written flat rate we send is the price you pay — truck, crew, blankets, shrink-wrap and basic prep are all included, with no surprise fuel or stair charges.
Do you charge for cigarette or lunch breaks?
Never. On a flat-rate move you pay one agreed price, so breaks are on us and the number on paper does not move.
How is the reservation process done?
Send your details for a free quote, pick your date, and we hold the slot — two to three weeks out is the sweet spot for the best availability.
How do I make my move go faster?
Have boxes labeled and sealed, clear the walkways, and reserve elevators or parking ahead — our crew handles the heavy lifting from there.
Do I have to give workers a tip?
Tipping is always optional and never expected. If the crew earned it, it’s appreciated — but it is never added to your bill.
